Why BRS?
Statistics
About 64% of low-income African American students receive no higher than their GEDs or high school diplomas and close to half of that percentage doesn't even complete their high school education.
Only 6 percent of Black students who took the ACT test were deemed college-ready in all four areas of English, mathematics, reading, and science.
Our Goal
Our goal is to break this cycle and end the statistics in our community.
